One Great Hour of Sharing which funds the Presbyterian Hunger Program,

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and Self-Development of People

Pentecost which funds programs for at-risk children, youth and young adults

including the Young Adult Volunteers in Mission

The Youth assisted members of Whiteburg United Methodist Church in serving their monthly meal for the needy of the area at Grace Presbyterian in Kittanning.

Everyone who attends the meal for the needy goes home with a bag of household supplies.

The youth throw themselves into mission efforts such as fund-raising for the One Great Hour of Sharing.

Bowling for mission is hard work.

Serving others comes so naturally, we can do it with our eyes closed.

Rev. Lonnie Long spoke in worship on the work of military chaplains. Lonnie is the chief of Chaplain Services at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Pittsburgh.
